GENERAL INFORMATION
The brochure is not able to contain all the information
we have about the island, the resorts and the villas but
if you would like to know more please e-mail or give us
a call. Listed below is some general information that may
be useful. We want your holiday to be a success so if something
is important to you please check with us before you book.
ACCOMMODATION The villa or apartment will generally be
available for you from 2pm (3pmwith some villas). If you
arrive early and the maids are still cleaning you can usually
leave your cases. The property must be vacated by 10am
on your departure day. This time is set so that the property
can be cleaned and made ready for new arrivals. Sometimes
it is possible to be a little more flexible subject to
the arrival times of the next guests. Anything other than
a 10am departure can only be arranged on the island with
the local management. It is important to note that priority
is always given to getting the property clean for new arrivals.
BEDROOMS/ BATHROOMS The number of bedrooms is clearly
stated for each property and generally includes the bed
arrangements Where extra persons occupy this may be on
a put u up or sofa bed. Not all bathrooms will have a bath
some will have shower cubicles. Most bathrooms or shower
rooms include a toilet. If either the bedroom or bathroom
facilities are important to you please check with us to
confirm the details.
FACILITIES We have listed the facilities in each kitchen
as they are at present. Please check if you have particular
requirements. Most but not all properties have washing
machines but they are often located in a utility room or
outdoor drying area. All properties have a toaster, kettle,
iron and ironing board and either a fridge or fridge/freezer.
It is wise to take your own hairdryer and a continental
adaptor. Electricity is 220 volts. All bedding, bath, hand
and tea towels are provided. You will need to bring your
own beach towels.
PRIVATE POOLS Villa pools often don’t have shallow
ends and when they do can get deep quickly. If your villa
states heated winter months this will be electrically heated
for Arrivals in November through to the end of April. Solar
heating will apply all the year round. Diving is not advisable
and is at clients own risk. Children should wear armbands
where necessary and be carefully monitored around the pool.
SAFES are provided free of charge in most villas.
TELEVISION Whilst some of the villas have satellite television
it is frequently limited to news and a few English channels.
It is not like Sky in the UK. Almost all villas have a
DVD player, some have DVDs but it
is advised to bring some of your own. Some villas have
Play Stations but you will need to bring games.
FOOD PACKS Most of the properties will have all you need
for a welcoming cup of tea or coffee when you arrive. Food
packs can be provided for a charge if you are on a late
flight.
INFANTS Cots are available to hire at £20 per week
and highchairs at £15 per week.
DAMAGE All damage must be reported to the management.
You will be charged for any damage to the villa, pool,
facilities or furniture.
MANAGEMENT Details of the management looking after your
villa will be shown on your invoice. Please contact them
if you have any queries or problems with the villa. Unless
it is an emergency please try to contact them during normal
office hours. In the unlikely event that you are not able
to get hold of them please contact us in the UK.
FLIGHT Before you travel we will need your flight information.
We can’t book car hire or transfers without it and
need to advise management of arrival times.
INSURANCE Travel insurance cover is essential and we must
have the cover details before you travel.
CAR HIRE/ TRANSFERS Car hire is available please see the
information on our website or request a car hire form.
We can pre- arrange an airport transfer service to take
you to your accommodation and back to the airport on your
departure day. This is paid for locally.
