We tend to rent villas for our annual summer holiday. Villa De Carrida did not disappoint. We have never stayed in a single storey villa before but will do so again after this holiday. The floor plan layout was ideal. All bedrooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable, wardrobes have a plentiful of hangers. The bathrooms are nicely furnished and huge! The kitchen is newly furnished with everything you require. The washing machine actually washed clothes sufficiently another first on our holiday. The information supplied informs you to put the pool cover on of an evening/night which we didn't do at the beginning of our holiday but soon realised that it is good advice. This was our first visit to Lanzarote and the wind certainly cools things down. I cannot fault Villa De Carrida we had a very private, quite, relaxing stay in the accommodation and a pleasant walk down to the bars and restaurants of an evening to enjoy the nightlife. Having teenagers with us this did mean that we didn't go to bed until 1 or 2 am in the morning. We hired a car for the two weeks and explored the island. It is not necessary to hire a car. It depends what you are looking for from your holiday. The management staff are fantastic and it was a really nice touch to have a representative visit on our first morning to provide us with lots of information on sightseeing etc. The cleaners were great! Hi Sue/Andrea, we had a really wonderful time and the villa was excellent!! Couldn’t have been better. The villa was big, clean and beautifully furnished and kitted out with everything we could need. Sitting room was very relaxing and had a great tv box! We really enjoyed the pool and the two seating areas outside. Bedrooms are all beautiful! Kitchen had everything we needed and lots of storage. We found the location very easy an is a nice walk down to the centre and only costs 3 euro or less to get back in a taxi if needed. Juanita Sept 2018

This is one of my favourite villas situated not too far up the hill in Los Mojones within easy walking distance of a good variety of supermarkets. The villa is always very clean and the lounge furniture is comfortable. There is a wide range of seating provided outside so you can always find a comfortable position in our out of the sun or wind! The pool is exceptionally good having vertical sides and sloping gradually to about 6 feet which suits less confident swimmers as well as the more able. The pool temperature is good provided you replace the cover overnight - which does require some effort since it is a large pool. There are lots of showers and plenty of hot water and towels provided. There is a wide screen television but don't expect much more than Sky News, better to bring your own DVD's. There are a good selection of restaurants down by the Port area and if you can't face the walk back up the hill a taxi can be readily had for 4 Euros with a tip. The villa has an electric gate which actually works and is very secluded. The local representatives are helpful but unobtrusive. They are there if you need them and having a native spanish speaker like Erica available is invaluable as I found out after I wrote off my hire car ... Drive carefully and enjoy the beautiful island of Lanzarote. Casa Cielo April 2018

We have stayed in many villas in Lanzarote over the years, this one however exceded all expectations. Everything that anyone could ever need is there. The fixtures and fittings are to an exceptionally high standard. The view fom the terrace has got to be one of the best on the island. We will definitely be returning next year and beyond. Everything in the Villa Esencia is good. Better than we remembered!

An excellent property in a great location. Close enough to walk to restaurants and shops each evening. We really liked the open plan lounge / kitchen / diner. The kitchen had all required items and the tv had British options so I could watch the six nations! The only bedroom we used was the master which was very comfortable (aside from the pillows - see comment below). The bathrooms are excellent with powerful showers. The garden is very nice with a small pool that’s big enough to cool off but not to swim lengths. At the front the street is really quiet and there’s a driveway for one car. Overall a wonderful place to stay.

This was by far one of the nicest places that I have stayed in in Lanzarote. Very spacious and clean, I did not see one cockroach, and perfect for a couple with small child to stay with grandparents without encroaching on each other’s space. Great functioning BBQ, fantastic outdoor space for our 2 year old to run around and gated off from the pool. Pool, though not heated in June, still very warm. Great to have the dishwasher and washing machine, both easy to use. Bed in Master Bedroom extremely comfortable. Would definitely stay again ... could do with two keys to property when 2 plus couples staying as the key holder outside was a little hard to open ... would defo stay again. Loved that a lady turned up to order us a taxi, and that Mum and Dad could stay late due to their flight being later. Great service, one of the best holidays we have ever had. Thank you. Casa Chica has a stunning position with direct views of the sea from one terrace and beautiful mountain views from a second. The villa is light and airy, is well equipped and is within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. Casa Chica Jan 2017

We had an amazing stay here and would absolutely come back. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described (if not better!). You can tell a lot of thought has gone into the little details, from the comfortable bed and quality linens to the well equipped kitchen and cozy living area. It felt welcoming the moment we walked in. Communication with the host was outstanding from start to finish. Check-in was smooth and straightforward, with clear instructions and quick responses to any questions. The location was perfect for what we needed close enough to everything to be convenient, but quiet and relaxing when we wanted to unwind. We felt completely at home and very well looked after. Overall, a fantastic experience. We’d happily recommend this Airbnb to anyone and would not hesitate to stay again.

3 generations stayed here for 2 weeks, ranging from 4 to 54, and we all loved it. The villa is huge - the pictures don't really do it justice - and very nicely equipped. The bedrooms are roomy (the master is enormous) and the bathrooms are all large, with good showers (note they are pressure fed, so they can be effected by the dishwasher etc) and crucially for us there was a bath in the main bathroom for little ones. Outside, the BBQ is brilliant - large and easy to use - and the outside fridge made life a lot easier for soda & chocolate runs. Likewise an outside loo, which stopped slippy trips to go inside when wet. The pool is 10x4 metres, so quite large, and it has steps in for little people but is 1.4m in the shallow end, but no slope/shallow end, though we didn't find that a problem. The cover is easy to pull on & off, and I recommend using it nightly as it's solar and makes the pool lovely and warm. The position is perfect; far enough away to be quiet at night, but only 10 mins walk (with toddler) downhill to the pretty harbour, with many good restaurants. We didn't like the 'new town' other than for lilo shops, but it will appeal to those who like lively nights, and is only a 15 min walk. Casa Cielo June 2018
