Arriving in Lanzarote

How do we get to the villa?

The most popular ways to get to your villa are:

You could hire a car
Book an airport transfer
Get a taxi from the airport

Do you know a good car hire company?

We can recommend ‘Omnicars’ – they are a friendly and reliable family hire car business. Cars can be picked up and returned to the airport or the villa. Click Hire Car to view details.

Do you know a good Airport Transfer company?

As an LLV client you can get a preferential rate with the airport transfer company ‘Canal Travel’ – they meet you at arrivals and are ready and waiting to drive you to the villa – they know how to get to all of our villas and it is a private transfer for you only – there are no additional drop offs or pick ups.

It is 45 Euros for a return transfer to a Puerto del Carmen villa (up to 4 passengers including luggage and any child seats). One way transfers are available too. Bikes can be arranged at a cost. Click to read more about transfers

How long is the drive from the airport to our villa?

Approx 15 minutes to Puerto del Carmen.
Approx half an hour to Playa Blanca
Approx 5 minutes to Tias.

Can we get a transfer from the airport for arrival and departure but also have a hire car brought to our villa?

Yes The hire car can be brought to your villa for 2 days or more, whilst you get taken to and from the airport by someone who knows the routes.

At the Villa

What time will the villa be ready for us?

14:00. If you arrive before this time you can leave your luggage at the villa whilst its being cleaned.

What time do we have to leave the villa?

10:00 so the villa can be prepared for new arrivals. Sometimes we can be flexible with this, but priority is given to preparing the villa for new arrivals.

We are on a late departing flight, what can we do after 10:00?

We can sometimes be flexible on the departure time from the villa, if new clients are not expected that day.

Some of the local apartments offer a day rate (approx 25-30 Euros), arranged the day before in person. This gives you somewhere to store your luggage, use the bathroom and kitchen and the facilities on the development.

A guaranteed late check-out from your villa can sometimes be arranged for a fee. Ask us for details.

How do we get keys to the villa?

Every villa has a key box outside. Once we have received full payment from you we will send you a key code to use for the key box. Please don’t forget to take this information abroad with you.

Customer Feedback
This is one of my favourite villas situated not too far up the hill in Los Mojones within easy walking distance of a good variety of supermarkets. The villa is always very clean and the lounge furniture is comfortable. There is a wide range of seating provided outside so you can always find a comfortable position in our out of the sun or wind! The pool is exceptionally good having vertical sides and sloping gradually to about 6 feet which suits less confident swimmers as well as the more able. The pool temperature is good provided you replace the cover overnight - which does require some effort since it is a large pool. There are lots of showers and plenty of hot water and towels provided. There is a wide screen television but don't expect much more than Sky News, better to bring your own DVD's. There are a good selection of restaurants down by the Port area and if you can't face the walk back up the hill a taxi can be readily had for 4 Euros with a tip. The villa has an electric gate which actually works and is very secluded. The local representatives are helpful but unobtrusive. They are there if you need them and having a native spanish speaker like Erica available is invaluable as I found out after I wrote off my hire car ... Drive carefully and enjoy the beautiful island of Lanzarote. Casa Cielo April 2018
