Villa Montana is a stunning 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom villa with a large pool and separate jacuzzi, comfortable outdoor seating on the terrace. Villa Montaña is a luxury villa close to all the amenities yet located in a quiet street in the Los Mojones area of Puerto del Carmen's old town. This spacious villa has been completely refurbished and with it's extensive grounds offers 5* accommodation and facilities to the more discerning traveller. Villa Montana has private gated entry offering plenty of space for parking on the drive.

The villa exterior is designed for rest and relaxation.The large private pool 8m x 4m (not including the steps) is surrounded by sunbathing areas and edged by garden borders full of colourful tropical shrubs. The pool is electrically heated in the Winter months from November to April inclusive. No chemicals are used in the pool cleaning. Surrounding the pool there is space for sunbeds for everyone. The separate hot tub/ Jacuzzi is in a shaded area beside the pool. There are 2 covered terrace areas. One has comfortable seating for guests to relax and the other is set up for dining. The nearby built in barbecue is perfect for al fresco dining. The water feature trickling away in the background will add to the sense of peace. The entire garden area is enclosed by a high wall giving you the comfort of relaxing in privacy.

The villa interior has been beautifully refurbished by the villa owners. The large entrance hall leads through to the lounge via double doors. This very spacious room is beautifully furnished in a modern style whilst still retaining a homely feel. All the usual facilities have been provided including internet TV and WiFi as well as air conditioning. An archway leads from the lounge through to the indoor dining area. Patio doors lead from the lounge out to the covered terrace. There is a fully-fitted kitchen with all mod cons and a door leading through to an external drying area and utility room with washing machine etc.

Through the other double doors off the hallway is the sleeping accommodation which includes three bedrooms and three bathrooms. The master suite has doors to the terrace - this bedroom has a king sized bed and air conditioning unit, en suite bathroom with bath, shower, twin basins and toilet. There are two further bedrooms, one of which has a king sized bed and the other has two single beds. Both of these bedrooms benefit from their own en-suite shower room with walk-in shower, basin and toilet. These two bedrooms also have ceiling fans instead of air-con.

The owners have created a wonderful stylish villa that we know our clients will enjoy. It is a great place to unwind and enjoy the outdoor life that Lanzarote offers.

In order to maintain a very high standard we are not able to let the villa to single sex or groups of young people. No children or infants. Minimum age of occupants 30. This villa requires a £100 refundable damage deposit as it is also a treasured holiday home to the owners.

Location

Los Mojones is a residential area of quality villas just above Puerto Del Carmen’s Old Town. This quiet part of Los Mojones, Puerto del Carmen has a large range of individual villas spread over a large area.

Supermarket: 9 minute walk (750m) east to Lidl at No. 1, Calle Juan Carlos I. A large well-stocked supermarket with a great meat counter for your BBQ. When paying just ask a staff member to call a taxi for you and they will happily do so.

Local restaurants/ bars: 9 minute walk (750m) east to Calle Juan Carlos I.

Shopping: Biosfera Shopping Plaza, 10 minute walk (800m) south-east to No. 15, Calle Juan Carlos I. Four floors of shops, restaurants and amusements including Starlight Open Air cinema playing 2 English movies each evening, a billiard and pool hall, crazy golf, and Cine6D virtual reality motion rides.

Harbour: 13 minute walk (1km) south - there are a wide choice of restaurants and bars in the harbour area. Great for lunch, dinner or a drink while an adventure playground keeps the children amused. Lots of choice of boat trips from the harbour including trips on a submarine, scuba diving and the Water Taxi to the marina at Puerto Calero.

Beaches: Playa Chica, a 16 minute walk (1.4km) south - is a pretty little cove surrounding by volcanic rocks, which is perfect for snorkelling and diving (a dive school is located here). Other sports enjoyed at Playa Chica are parascending, banana boat rides, single and double jet-skiing, Crazy UFO and Fly-boarding. The main beach, Playa Grande, a 16 minute walk (1.4km) south-east - is a long stretch of fine grain sand with calm waters, a very gentle shelf and little current so paddling and swimming are very safe.

Main Beach Road: 12 minute walk (1km) south-east to the western end of Avenida de las Playas, the long 'strip' of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops of the greatest variety that runs parallel to Playa Grande. Beach-side, the palm-tree lined promenade is perfect for strolling, jogging, cycling on the red brick cycling lane (many bicycle renting places available), or just people watching. Don’t forget taxi fares are inexpensive in Lanzarote if you don’t want to walk home.

Puerto Calero: 50 minute walk (4km) go west along the coastal walkway and you will reach the marina at Puerto Calero, where there are lovely restaurants and gorgeous shopping. This walk is very popular with our clients. There is also a water taxi from the Old Town harbour if you don’t fancy the walk either one way or both ways. The restaurants in Puerto Calero are perfect for a long lazy lunch. The Water Taxi back costs 6 Euros and the last one leaves about 5pm.

Golf: Lanzarote Golf - an 18-hole public course, 8 minute drive (4.8km).

Zoo: Rancho Texas Lanzarote Park, a 7 minute drive (5km). Displays of birds of prey, sea lions, and parrots and cockatoos and you can also see other exotic birds and reptiles, including the Komodo dragon. Also a cowboy lasso and whip show, and the children can enjoy canoeing and gold-panning, pony riding, and then cool off in the pool.

Go Karting: Gran Karting, a go-karting track 15 minutes drive north-east (13km).

National Park: Timanfaya National Park, the natural wonder of Lanzarote has a unique 'Martian' landscape and rare plant species. To the El Diablo restaurant, a 30 minute drive (22km). A unique experience is it to take a camel ride across the volanic landscape (20 minute drive, 17km).

Water Park: Aqualava Water Park, a geothermally-heated water park, 30 minutes drive south-west (25km).

Markets: every Friday 10am - 4pm 100 stalls set up at the Plaza Varadero near the Old Town harbour for locally sourced fruit, vegetables and flowers, as well as handmade craft items, jewellery and clothes (1km). At nearby Tias, the Saturday morning 9am - 2pm Farmers market is an ideal place to purchase fresh locally produced vegetables much cheaper than the supermarkets (10 minute drive 6km north-east). Also, the biggest open-air street market in Lanzarote is on Sunday mornings 9am - 2pm in Teguise (28 minute drive 21km north-east).

Festivals: late February, revel at the Carnival or if you’re visiting in July, don’t miss the folklore performances, folk singing, dancing and vibrant processions at the Feast of St Carmen, patron saint of the city and fishermen.

Just wanted to say we returned home from Villa Montana last Thursday and had a fantastic stay, what an amazing villa, the decoration, the facilities and the home from home feel is second to none, and the outside space wow, it is unreal. The location is fantastic.

Villa Montana is just stunning. Spacious, immaculately clean, very well equipped and in a perfect location - so peaceful! Each bedroom with en suite was beautifully decorated. We didn't use the Air Con available as the rooms were cool enough. Outside is beautiful and well kept - we loved the little pond area! Plenty of seating and sun loungers which were really well placed for bathing or shade. The pool was clean and a lovely temperature. The hot tub was equally as lovely and was the deciding factor for our booking. Old town PDC was a gentle 5 minute walk away (all down hill) or 10 minutes to the main strip. There are plenty of Taxi’s to bring you back to the Villa for around 3 to 5 Euros depending on which area you catch it. The local electric scooter scheme is a great way to get around and easy to use. I cannot recommend Villa Montana highly enough and look forward to spending many more holidays there. On a side note, our dealings with Lanzarote Leisure Villas have been a really pleasant, easy and smooth process. We have recommended you to friends and family already.

Having just returned from your villa which was for our honeymoon i would like to say what an amazing time we've had. I can honestly say this is probably the best villa we've ever stayed in. The villa was lovely and clean and very spacious. The pool was fantastic and the outside patio area was lovely. This villa was amazing in every way and we will most definitely be coming back.
